As a Partner in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice at Roo Partners, Jeff partners with healthcare-focused private equity firms and founders to build high-impact leadership teams for organizations addressing some of the industry’s most complex challenges. He brings nearly two decades of experience advising investors and operators across healthcare, life sciences, and pharma services, with a focus on leadership as a primary driver of value creation.

Prior to joining Roo Partners, Jeff was the Founder and CEO of TEAMWORx Health, where he developed a deep understanding of healthcare’s operational and regulatory complexities while guiding investors and management teams through growth and transformation initiatives. His background spans healthcare leadership, private equity partnership, and talent advisory, earning him a reputation for delivering durable results across healthcare services and life sciences companies.

Jeff’s career is complemented by a longstanding commitment to community and healthcare advocacy. He has served as an Ambassador Board member for Project C.U.R.E., a two-term Board Director and Colorado Advocacy Chair for the American Diabetes Association, and has supported additional nonprofit initiatives focused on healthcare access and education. This commitment closely aligns with Roo Partners’ mission to empower organizations through thoughtful, purpose-driven leadership.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing, and cooking with friends, and spending time with his two teenage children.

The geographic reality of finding the next great C-suite leaders

Today, leaders are more geographically dispersed than ever, and far less willing to uproot their lives and families for the next opportunity. Relocation rates have declined drastically, with less than 4% of professionals earning over $200K moving for a new role in 2024, down from 10.6% prior to the 2020s. While surveys by leading consultancies such as IIC Partners suggest that 81% of executives are “open” to relocation in theory, the reality often looks very different. Leaders are increasingly selective, willing to move only for exceptional opportunities with significant incentives.
